Where does each donation go?

A gift for one person

We buy the gift that person asked for and hand it over at the visit.

A donation to a visit

It covers whatever that visit still needs: gifts, supplies and transport.

A donation to the organization

It keeps us running: transport, materials and preparing new visits.

How are payments processed?

Card payments are processed by Wompi, the payment service of Banco Agrícola in El Salvador. We never see or store your card details. You are charged in US dollars and get a confirmation by email.

Reports from every visit

Every completed visit has its own page with photos of the delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Not yet. We are a volunteer group without legal registration, so we cannot issue tax-deductible receipts in El Salvador or any other country.

Can I donate from outside El Salvador?

Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard, including cards issued in other countries. You are charged in US dollars.

How do I know the gift arrived?

After each visit we post photos of the delivery on its page, and the gifts delivered are added to the totals on this page.
